When I turn on my mp3 it plays music all shity... Any help?

Well I use limewire and I plugged my mp3(its an opal btw) into my xbox 360 to play to it while ownin on madden and well I unplugged it and played it and now it sucks ass and its not my headphones trust me. Just the music and you cant hear what they say its all chopped up

you probably didnt unplug it correctly and all the data corrupted
