Who can answer my beta fish questions?
I’ve considered buying a beta fish, but I want him to live long and be the happiest, healthiest fish ever. (so to speak) here are my questions: how much does a bottle if water conditioner cost? Is it ok for me to make him a hideout out of Sculpey clay? Where should I keep the fella? Thanks! I might add more questions later. :) Sorry for the poor typing Im using an ipod. Blessings!
water conditioner is NOT needed for one fish! we have had beta my whole life, and the longest surviving one was over 5 years!!! make sure you feed it pellets NOT flakes, and a small one gallon tank is best for just one beta. Also, I personally would not recommend addind sculpy clay projects to the tank. I would suggest walking down the beach and finding cool shells or sea glass, and rocks, washing and rinsing them thouroghly and adding those. The pet store has col things for cheap as well. We like the marble stones. When adding or changing water be sure to leave it out for hours til its roon temp. and change 25% of the water weekly. Which means, take out one cup and add a new one. That will keep it from smelling or getting dirty. Good luck!!
I had a betta for over 9 years all you have to do is clean tank evrt week and get it a couple of plats real or fake I fed mine pellets so I highly suggest you use that whn using stoness I suggest you use ether marbles or sand and graveel good DO NOT GET PLANTS FROM DOOLAR STORE DEPENDING WHERE YOU LIVE BECAUSE THE PLASTIC IS TOXIC!!! good luks!!:):):):)
A few drops are all that’s needed, per instance (depends on size of tank of course)…so one bottle should last between 2-4 months, from memory.
how much does a bottle if water conditioner cost? A few dollars, depending on where you live - should be less than five.

Anywhere, just make sure you clean the tank regularly, otherwise, it will smell. I like beta fish, they’re very pretty.
