Which birth control pill brand is best?

All hormonal BC pills are 99.94% effective. They just have different side effects, and those vary from one woman to the next. The only way to tell which is best for you (as far as side effects go) is to use one and take note of changes. Changes to watch for include : weight gain, acne, excessive moodiness, loss of libido, breast enlargement, dryness or irritation of your vagina, and others, I’m sure. If the side effect is not wanted or is problematic, change brands. They are all equally effective at preventing pregnancy. Make sure that you two use condoms for the first month as your body adjusts to the hormones. If you change brands, you do not have to go thru this 1 month wait as long as you do not go thru a period without the pills. If at any time you are put on antibiotics, know that antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of BC pills. I do not know by how much, so you will want to use condoms for the rest of that month, also, of course, if you miss pills.
