Attempting to reconnect
Something went wrong!
Hang in there while we get back on track
Check the Humane Society and of course, Pet stores…Good luck !!
go to a animal shelter try pet finder for shelters in your area, dont go to a pet store those pups parents are abused to have pups, and pups at pet stores get sickness for the way there breed..
Please, please don’t buy one from the internet or a pet store. Check out my profile and my photos…you’d be supporting puppy mills if you bought from either.
Adopt a dog from your local animal shelter. Any love you give, they’ll repay a thousand times over.
First you should decide on what kind of dog you want. Then do some research on the breed, you have to make sure that the breed fits your lifestyle. Then 1st check craigslist, pennysaver, & the recycler. You should also check out the shelters or do a search for rescue groups.
If you need help doing some of the research enlist friends but please do NOT buy from the pets stores!!
Pedigree.com
You type in your zip code and you will see a list and photos of puppies and dogs.
Thru pedigree your adoption cost will be very low, I saw a maltese I liked it was $25.00. If you get one from the shelter it will be spayed or neutered before you take it home (included in the adoption price) or if not old enough you will be able to take it back at no charge when it’s old enough. The adoption price will include worming and shots.
Find 2 or 3 you like and then spend time with them. Take them outside for a walk. When you take it home it will take some time for it to get use to its new home. I have 2 dogs.
DO not Look at a Pet Store because they can be wrong with the breeds…>I got a rabbit from the pet store and they told me that he was a mini Rex and later I found out that he is a Standard Rex bigger rabbit…and he is not so mean or anything…Well Just find one in the papers its better that way
you can also go to www. craigslist.com theres always somebody giving away puppies with a small adoption fee of course of 50 to 100 dollars. hope I helped!!:)
try pennysaver theres a lot of puppies there and really cheap really cute too. but you can also try a shelter near your home and save a life too.
Try petfinder.com to find some puppies in your local area from a shelter. It’s a better alternative than buying from a pet store.

I would adopt one from a shelter… they’re a lot cheaper and you save a life…
petfinder.com
a shelter
never from a pet store or what is called a backyard breeder. they usually advertise in the newspaper.
and remember…always spay/neuter.
GO TO A ANIMAL SHELTER!!! NOW!!! SO MANY INNOCENT PUPPIES ARE KILLED BECAUSE NO ONE ADOPTS THEM!!! ADOPTING ONE MAKES YOU A HERO.
DO NOT BUY FROM A PET STORE!!! You not only inadvertantly support puppy mills, but you’ll spend a lot of money on a dog who’s almost guarenteed to cost you much more in the future…
A shelter is a good place to find a dog…go with an idea in your mind of what you’re looking for…so you don’t end up with being one of those “I didn’t know he was going to get so big” types, who return their dog-child to the shelter…

I got my puppie for 500 bucks at a flee market in Wichester and in a regular store he would have been like 1500.
Please don’t go to a pet store.
The animals there are often from puppy mills–where mother dogs are kept in cramped cages and forced to breed OVER and OVER again–with little exercise or medical care.
The puppies are kept in cramped cages in horrible conditions and then sold to pet stores. The puppies are often sick and not neutered/spayed/vaccinated–which means a LOT of money. they are expensive, too.
Going to a shelter ensures a few things:
- You are saving the puppy’s life
- The puppy will have been checked by a vet, given vaccines, and spayed/neutered
- The puppy will be healthy
- The adoption fee will be less than a pet store fee.
animal shelters are a very good place to look. the way I see it - those pets need a home and someone to love them - and to get them out of the shelter so that they can have a meaningful life. yeah- I am a softy when it comes to animals, they give unconditionally.
definately try the shelter, should be one near you somewhere. I live in the country, so I always see signs for free puppies or kitties.
make love to a dog Indian people do it o_o
From a very pregnant looking FEMALE dog.
you could look in the newspaper
