When will my brace spacers stop hurting ?

when I get the spacers off the back of my teeth , will if feel better, or the same ? and will I be able to eat/chew food again ?

Well, once they remove the spacers, usually they start putting the wire…thingies in to make sure your back teeth stay so the front teeth can shift back.

You’ll get used to the pain in a bit, if you want, you can use oraljel, or orajel? Something like that, it’s a mouth numbing paste. Tastes atrocious but at least it’ll temporarily relief the pain for a bit.

Stick to soft foods for awhile until you can bite solids again.

Should only take a week or two at most.

I hated the spacers! BUT I got used to it, and the pain went away. Now I’m stuck with braces for a couple years. But, whatever, soon I’ll probably get SO used to them that it’ll feel even weirder not having them on o_O?
