When should I ask my ex boyfriend what the deal is?

My ex lied and said that he broke up with me and dint have time for a relationship. A month later he is with a new girl, and seemingly very into her. WE are stil friends on aim (he knows this) and he is blasting it for everyone to see. Im over him, and have met someone new now, but am still very hurt because if nothing else I though twe were friends. I want to ask him why he lied, is it soon? He has a temper, and I dont want him to get angry nor do I want him to think im trying to get back with him. Im simply want an answer. When is a good time to ask if ever?

As much as that sucks, the “I don’t have time for a relationship” excuse rarely ever actually means that. It’s just the easy, less hurtful way of breaking up. I wouldn’t bring it up at all. Even if you did, what do you gain from it? At best, you might get an im sorry, but chances are its going to make your friendship awkward and it will seem like you arnt really over him.

just hurts because we were firends for four years and dated for two! but I guess your right it wont gain anything. just have to deal with the lost trust and hurt. thanks so much
