When food is too comforting?

Please nobody make fun, or just call me fat I know I am for one..

Only if you have. Or had this problem at a time in your life may you awnser please.

I eat when I’m not hungry, I eat when I’m mad, I eat when I’m bored, when I’m actually hungry I eat a lot more than it would take to make me full I don’t know how to stop… Its just comforting and there all the time And I’m starting to feel really bad about myself and my apperance. I wasnt always like this, I used to be very confident and I wasnt weighing much less than I do now but… Weight really isnt a part of this its just every single emotion I feel that I dont like I cover it up with food, …I feel so ashamed and I am woundering if someone can help me out, talk to me or give me a good website for support..

im used to be like that. I still eat sometime when im bored but not as much. chewing gum is good when you feel hungry. Your should drink 2 glasses of water when you feel hungry… sounds silly I know .. but it is good because this fills you up and if your still hungry in half an hour then you should eat. But that will tell you if you really are hungry or just want somthing to eat but dont need it. Also if your bored go out for a walk or take part in a sport. If you are doing something…even walking you forget about your hunger and just focus on what your doing. Hope this hels

I’m like you btw I eat like that a lot but when ever you fel like you need 2 eat just chew some gum it’ll get your mind off it thats wht I do or just drink some water or one of your favorite drinks and maybe that’ll work hope I helped rock on

First off I would never make fun of someone for this, what kinda person would! Don’t feel ashamed, maybe theres something bothering you, or stressing you out.. And food is just calming, maybe if you keep more fruits around the house that would be a better alternative. Because at least your getting fibbers, and nutrition from the fruit. If I was you I would go see a therapist.. Maybe theres something deeper inside you that just wants to eat and maybe theres something bothering you..
