When consuming water before a meal to lose weight?

When I start eating, I tend to eat a lot! Lately I’ve been gaining some pounds and I want to lose it. I know that drinking water when eating is bad because it makes you full… But would it be a bad idea if I drank a glass of water before each meal to make myself get fuller faster so I dont eat as much?

Answer #1

That is one way of doing it, it might help you portion your meals a little better as well, but it probably won’t make you feel full for as long, so it would be a good idea to maybe add in another meal or something a day, more small meals are much healthier for you then a few large ones, it helps your metabolism.

I heard somewhere that for some reason you shouldn’t drink throughout a meal, instead, drink a glass before, and a glass after a meal. It will make you fuller faster and you will eat less and consequently loose a bit of weight.

If you really want to loose weight, you should exercise. It doesn’t have to be hard-out, just maybe do some sit-ups in the TV ad breaks, or go for a 10 minute run twice a week. Anything is better than nothing.

Yes it will
