When can I tell if I'm pregnant?

Just got off birth control the 14th of february, now ttc. The 19th through the 21st I had a really light bleed I thought may have been implantation bleeding but decided it was probably a very light period from stopping birth control. Have not bled since. Took three pregnancy tests, once a week, all negative. If the bleed was my period, I would ovulate between the 2nd and the 5th of march. We’ve been very active on these days and now ( the 4th) my nipples are extremely sore. I’ve been nauseas and had mild headaches the past few days. Took hpt and it was negative. I read that right after you ovulate your nipples can be very sore due to higher progesterine levels. If this is the case, and we succeeded while I was ovulating, how soon will I know if I am pregnant or not? Also, why am I experiencing these pregnancy symptoms when I’m not pregnant? (moodiness, nausea, bloating, constipation, headaches, sore nipples)

First off, if you had your period feb 19th and haven’t had it yet, that’s normal! It’s only been about 2 weeks. Plus, they say getting off birth control can mess up your period for a lil while. Also stop wasting your money on pregnancy tests as they most likely won’t even work until you miss a period! My advice would be to wait it out and if you haven’t gotten your period by end of March, take another test or go to your doctor or health clinic!! Hope I helped

PS:: are u trying to get pregnant?

Answer #2

Yes we’re trying. I know I’m not pregnant now, but I read many womens first pregnancy symptoms are sore nipples within a few days after ovulation. I’ve never had sore nipples before and now they’re horrible. (I’m almost positive I ovulated the 2nd oh March, now its the 5th.)So I could possibly be in the extremely early stages, as in two weeks pregnant, and wont be able to know by a test for another two weeks. Does this make sense, or am I getting wrong info?

I’m not sure about the ovulating thing but yeah you should probably be able to test positive whenever you miss you period! So yeah probably another 2 or 3 weeks. Good luck let me know what happens!!
