How do I tell my Mom that I'm pregnant?

I am 17 my boyfriend is 21, I am about a month into a pregnancy. I want to keep it. I havent told my family yet-even though I already know I have to. but HOW do I tell them? [if you were a mom how would you want to b told]??

Al I know is that when I told my mum I was pregnant I told her over the phone because I wasnt sure how she would react and she said she felt very hurt that I had felt unable to talk to her in person.

I would want to be told face to face. It would be easier if you told your mom that you’d like for her to set some time aside to just talk to you for an hour or two one night. Tell her how much you love her, and how much you respect her and thats why you had to come to her and get this out into the open. Tell her you know it will hurt her, because you are so young, but that you hope she will want to be a big part of the baby’s life, and you’d like her to share it with you. Make sure you hug her and let her know that even though “her baby” is now grown up and will be having her own baby, you still very much love and need her.
