The “technical name” of the Happy Trail is very simply just “abdominal hair.”

There are 4 different growth patterns of abdominal hair but the Happy Trail is associated with the Sagittal growth pattern (a narrow vertical band of hair extending from the pubic hair towards the navel, often slang called a ‘Snail Trail’ or ‘Happy Trail’).
