Whats wrong with being emo???

because majority of the people who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still have no idea what the word actually means emo has NOTHING to do with cutting (self harm) depression (mental disorder) suicide or eating disorders ect those things play NO part in any label or sterotype and feelings and emotions also play NO part in any label or sterotype a while ago some wankers went around saying emos cut, there all depressed then like sheep, other people beleive it and pass it on so the stupidity spreads a lot of idiots also use the word as an insault but there are also people who call themselves emo (mostly kids) who really arnt or they beleive that cutting and depression is what its all about so they join it nowdays a lot of uneducated kids cut and feel depressed about stupid crap like I hate my life, I got grounded, mum wont let me have a boyfreind, I never get to go anywere, ect, ect and they think other emo people all have the same “problems” so they join a sterotype were they think people understand them but majority of these kids dont have any real problems there just too young or too simple minded to realise that those things are normal and that no feeling, emotion, self harm, depression, ect is part of any label as for me, I am fine with the small minority of people who know what emo actually is and call themselves one but I do not like all the little kids and the wankers out there who have no idea what it is those people are just either spreading bullsh*t about it or doing things like cutting or being depressed because they think thats what its all about when it has NOTHING to do with any of that

The only reason why I call myself emo is because thats how people see me as thank you very much and I have denied it but the more I do the more I realize that theyre right

Hunnie a lot of people judge everyone on the outside! It makes me sick and I get really pissed off about it to, I am one of thoose girls that look really stuck up because I wear a lot of desiner and quite fashionable but on the inside I am as soft as anything and I will listn and help anyone. Let them thinkwhat they want, but all you can do is show them who you realy are and make them see your nt like the rest. At the end of the day how cares what they think you are who you are! Dont change for anyone and be urself! X

There’s nothing wrong with emos at all. Most of the people who say negative things about them are the ones who don’t know the real facts. They’re the idiots who have either started, or believe all the rumors/lies going around about emos. And that’s pretty sad. Emo is nothing more than a type of music and style.

emo’s don’t cut.. the people who do are not emo.. they’re cutters who either don’t know the meaning of emo or are posers… so many people go around cutting claiming to be emo or mope around and whatever, which is not what emo’s do. emo’s seem happy and fun around everyone who’s anyone and never cut. the poser people has increased which and now it’s believed for emo’s to be that way and now people can’t stand it and hate emo’s. you hardly ever see an actual emo now days.
