What's wrong with dogs if they have the runs?

shes mabey deppress cause my dog was sick and now his feeing alot better cause im back so just show it love that might help and bring it by the vet

Oh, that can be many things.. did she get into the trash? Has she had all of her shots, and are they up to date? If she hasn’t, she’s at risk of getting parvo, which is fatal if not treated. How long has this been going on? You need to get her to the vet soon. Just letting you know, if it is parvo, be prepared to empty your wallet :)

Shes utd on all her shots and has no sign of worms in her feces. We did switch dog foods about a week and a half ago. She is also a table scrap dog due to my son sneaking her his food. But its never anything harmful. I guess I will call up the vet if she doesnt get better in a couple days. She is very much my companion and best friend.

Well, seeing as you switch dog foods, and the dog eats table scraps..it’s probably just having trouble getting used to the new food. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it, but I am not a professional. All I know is, when we try to get my dog to eat anything other kind of dog food, she won’t eat it. But if we switch back, she will eat. Sometimes dogs get so attached to scraps, they won’t anything else like dog food. Scraps taste better, and that is what they want….

Try switching back to your old dog food, if it still refuses to eat, then take it to the vet…

However, it’s possible for your dog to get used to the new food. Keep giving it the new food, leave it in it’s dish. If it gets hungry, it WILL eat it sometime or another. but don’t exceed a couple of days without it eating.

Thanks everyone! She seems to be all better now! I switched her back to her old dog food.
