What is wrong with my dog?

Recently my 2 year old Chihuahua/Terrier puppy is limping. She yelps when she walks and gets picked up. Its her right thigh. It feels swollen but im not entirely sure whats wrong with her leg. She usually runs around but now she just lays down and doesnt try to walk unless to go outside and pee or to follow us upstairs when its bed time. Then this morning my dad squashed her behind his chair on accident and her neck hurts. Any idea what this could be?? We called the vet but im not sure if were brining her in bc my mom called not me.

This dog is NOT okay. She should have been at the vet 2 weeks ago not now.

She started limping yesterday night . Thats when i found out and we called early this morning. We live on a military base so the vet clinic isnt open past 5

no its fine. i know you must love animals and i would have been angry if somebody didnt take care of their dog either (: but im just worried about her

just try to keep her comfortable while you get the vet thing sorted.

She could have done anything to it.. fallen on it, gotten it caught on something, etc. I would take her to get looked at tomorrow. In the meantime, try to keep her off of it. :) I know! Everything closes early on a military base! lol it was 8pm and the bowling alley was already closed. =/

Get her to the Vet…she could have torn or partially torn her ACL…VERY painful….DO NOT let her jump up on funiture, and only let her out on a leash walks for peeing (no long walks)….she needs to rest it. You can try icing it, also…

However if you don’t stop her from jumping up on things for the time being, everytime she does she’s reinjuring the original injury…she could end up crippled.

GO TO THE VET!!
