I wrote a poem thats supposed to convince my parents to get me a dog. What do you think? will it convince them?

All I want is a puppy who’s fur is softer than the blanket that keeps me warm at nite All I want is a puppy who’s face is cuter than the animals that I see all around All I want is a puppy who’s waiting for me when I come threw the door All I want is a puppy who’s belly is pink and likes to be rubbed All I want is a puppy who’s nice and lovable to always kiss All I want is a puppy who’s tongue is warm on my face All I want is a puppy who’s always at my side All I want is a puppy to call my own

Maybe, yeah, save up and say you’ll do all the work for it, etc. Buy its food, toys, stuff you need.
