What's the point of a leave-in conditioner?

Answer #1

from my knowledge, which may be incorrect, leave in conditioner sits in the hair providing for protection, and conditions it longer leaving the hair smoother and glossier than just rinsing out normal conditioner.

Answer #2

I use leave in conditioner because I have naturally curly hair, and conditioning it in the shower isn’t really the best way for me to do my hair. I just spray the leave in conditioner in my hair after the shower, and scrunch it in. It’s truly meant for people with thick or curly hair, but some other people decide to use it because the leave in conditioner makes your hair smoother.
