What's the difference between damp and wet hair?

Wet hair can drip water and damp means it’s semi dry but not completely.

wet hair is like when you get out of the shower or get done washing your hair and it is drenched or soaking wet, damp is like after you towel dry it where its still has a little water in it but its not dripping anymore

Damp is like when you get out of the shower, then about 15 minutes later you feel your hair and it’s kinda dry kinda not. Wet hair is when you get out of the shower and you feel your hair water gets on you. Am I right?
