Whats a good healthy snack ?

Are pistachios and peanuts healthy what other nutritional snacks are there besides vegetables and fruits?

Yes pistachios and peanuts are good for you. Some other healthy snacks include:

Tuna and crackers Yogurt Granola bars Cheese Dried fruit Unsweetened apple sauce Smoothies Fresh juice Pretzels (in moderation) Cereal (breakfast) Milk (low fat) Water

Dried fruit I would not recommend due to the high sugar content.

Almonds instead of peanuts as they are lower in fat. Granola, Frozen fruit is a great alternative to sugary popsicles Yogurt (read the label first)

The rule of thumb is generally anything with less than 3 grams of fiber is not worth eating LOL…

As for the AM - I would not recommend you eat cereal, oatmeal, or bagels in an excessive amount. Instead I would recommend eggs, a meal substitute, or something with protein - If you must have a bagel, put peanut butter on it.

Your body needs protein first thing in the AM in order to replenish its supply.

They are certainly good for you, but peanuts are high in fat, so I’d avoid those if you’re looking for low fat alternatives.

I’d recommend almonds instead of peanuts.
