What would you do if you got raped?

I would go to someone I trusted and tell them and ask them for help doing the right thing

go to the cops. chances are if someone raped someone they will do it again.

Tell an adult right away.

I think that we can all say that you would go to your parents or that you would go to the cops about it but I be HONEST I dont know what I would do. To have my life on the line and them say that no matter what if you tell they will find you they will get you then your not just going to tell just like that. I really dont know ina situation like that what I would do–I just hope it never comes to that.

i was raped when i was 12, i stayed out the rest of the night cause i thought it was all my fault and i was embarrassed to tell anyone. i went to my friends house and told him straight away and he took me to the police station and helped me tell them what had happened, then we went to the hospital to get the morning after pill, i was terrified but he helped me through it all. i’d say go to a friend rather than a parent or adult. friends know you more than anyone and know when there is something bothering you ;) good luck hun;) xx

when i was 9, something similar happened to me. i wasnt raped but i was touched by someone i didnt want to be touched by because he was my mothers bf. he was an alcoholic. i have only eve told one person. i told them 2 weeks ago. i told my bf. i regret not telling anyone before that because i have had to deal with it alone for 5 years of my life. and i know now that if i did he could have been punished. although the man was soon after arested for abusing my mother and causing her severe trauma and brain damage, that is not the point, he was punished fro something else. he still has not been punished for what he did to me. he is out of jaill now and i am still scared to this very day that it will happen again. my mother still does not know, none of my family do, i regret not telling because if he does it to someone else i will feel that it is my fault. me suggestion is you tell someone. right away.
