I was thinking they could figure out my name by the license plate cause the car was in my name.

It was stopped for cutting through private property.

They can send you a ticket via snail mail. That’s why they’ve been putting up road cameras on all the stop lights. Though, unless you are the name on the car’s title, it may not be addressed directly to you but maybe your parents…

we weren’t on main streets. im not worried about cameras in anyway I was just curious if they would do anything or if they would have given me a ticket on the spot. and yes it’s under my name haha haven’t lived with my parents in awhile.

Your friend was driving, he/she was responsible for driving through private property. If there had been a problem with the registration/insurance the police would have issued you a ticket on the spot. I think you’re Ok ticketwise.

okay thank you for the help, I assumed I would have been given a ticket on the spot but no they didn’t even ask for license, registration, insurance, my name or any information what so ever.

My friend was arrested because he is on probation and has a “curfew” because of previous drug charges. So he’s going to be gone for quite awhile.
