Can a cop from the border city pull me over?

Ok this is the situation. I was about 800 to 900 yards away from the city the cop was from. The cop was parked in someones property which looked like it belonged to a farmer in front of a big garage. I guess he was clocking cars with his radar gun. According the the officer I was going 66 on a 45 so he pulled me over right away and I was still in the city he didnt work for. Not only was is it a different city from which he was from it was a diferent county. In the ticket it shows I was stoped in frankfort, will county and says he was from richton park, cook county. Im just wondering if theres any laws that could protect me in court???? because if I remember right he doesnt have jurisdiction. Unless theres a new law that grants jurisdiction for this situation. Please Help!~!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really, but you could take the gamble and contest the ticket in front of a judge. The jurisdiction argument wouldn’t fly very well, but you may get lucky and the cop might not attend the hearing. The best argument to put forth would be that you believe that you were going less than 55mph when the officer decided to pull you over.
