What will happen in this case.?

My boyfriend is currently in jail. When he was 17 he got pulled over and was taken to the department on juvenile justice. He was given a ticket, but he didnt know he had one because he was arrested at the same time. Later a warrant was out for his arrest. He turned himself in 2weeks later and now he has to sit in jail until his court date on the 17th of May. His charge is for no valid drivers license with a 500$ bond. This is a 2nd degree misdeanor. He also has something on his record still for when he was 17 by the department of juvenile justice. We cannot bail him out because he has that on his record. He has also missed court before. What is most likely to happen? Will the judge give him jail time, a fine, probation, or house arrest? This is only a second degree misdemeanor and he can only spend up to 60 days in jail or either have a 500$ fine. Will anything else be added because of the issue he has unresolved with the department on juvenile justice? This is in hillsborough county fl

Answer #1

It all depends on the judge, but if the judge is reasonable, the violation will be setg at time served.
