What to do when your father lies?

Well, if he’s an alcoholic, his intentions were probably good, he simply couldn’t keep those intentions. I know…the road to hell is paved with good intentions…but I can tell you, that when I drank, I really meant it when I said 10 minutes only…or that I’d only have one beer…it just never worked out that way.

Look , the truth is : he is what he is and you can not change him. Pray for him and kill evel with kindness.

I think you should guilt him a little by saying how much you and your sister love him and would never do anything to hurt him yuet he constantly hurts you and your sister by lying and throwing his life away at the bar it will make him think more rather than just saying I promise real quick to something you ask

why is this an issue firstly ? as depending on why as to what you should do , basicly though he showed you his promises are worthless
