What To Do After You Tell a Guy You Loved Them and ...?

Okay so recently I went to this guys house basically to hang out. I’ve known him for well over two years and the last year we started having sex. I have always had feelings for him, like I deeply cared about him. So I just wanted to finally tell him that and I wasn’t expecting much from it because I didn’t think anything was going to change. Anyway we hung out, he went out and got pizza, then we went and rented a movie to watch, cuddled and then sex and then cuddle again. After we just feel asleep but then I couldn’t sleep because I knew I had to tell him. So toward the end I finally told him. I had a difficult time saying “I love you” and I remember he kept asking me what, say it. I finally did and I almost cried. After that he just didn’t say anything and wanted me to lay down on him. I did that awhile and he dove me back home with no conversation. The only thing blaring was his country music which was ironically about love and cheering up. It was so awkward driving back and now I’m just left hurt. Like I have no idea what to do now. I know that he doesn’t feel the same way and I was really expecting much. I don’t know I’m just confused on what I should right now. So please any help?

just act like it never happened. I think he was too shy to say it back because he does love you :)
