What, System To Go With?

I’ve already posted this question in general knowledge and only got one answer which didnt help me at all. Maybe this category will work better. Anyone who knows about CAR AUDIO you are wanted to answer. Im getting ready to put a system in my 89 Blazer. I have a good amount of room so box size isnt a problem and I can build the box myself, also not a problem. I want to know what subs, amp, headunit, and anything else I should get. Im looking for loud deep bass that will last but I dont want to spend over $750. Any suggestions?

Yeah im planing on getting some new speakers, thinking about infinity. I Want to get good quality namebramd stuff that will last. Im sure your system is nice and im not trying to hate on you, but im not gonna go with bad brands such as dual. Im thinking maybe some kickers or alpines. Not too sure. I would also like to know if any headunit will fit into my truck? Does the headunit affect the dash install kit?

Well I’m not an audiophile, but this is what I did in my 1990 s10-extend cab. Picked up a couple after speakers (SoundStorm F246 x2 and SoundStorm F341 x2 from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/)to replace the POS stock speakers. Picked up a Pioneer DEH-11E from NewEgg.com - got a really good deal on it. Then I found a pair of decent 15”” subs in a box at a local pawn shop. Picked up a Dual amp from Walmart.

I know its nothing special, even with the dash install kit, and amp wiring kit I think I spent about $250 total and the system sounds really nice.
