What size horse should I ride?
It’s my first time going horse riding next week, and I’m totally excited about it! Very nervous too though. I’ve read up most of what I can, but cant seem to figure out what size horse would be the best for me.
I’m a 14 year old girl, 5ft5.5 and weigh 119lbs.
Anyone have any ideas of what size horse I should begin on?

Well any size won’t matter I’ve been riding for a good many years, it depends on the temperment of the horse, for first timers, I’d ride a very calm older horse thats been there done that sort of deal.
Well if its your 1st time riding, the size of the horse really doesn’t matter. you only really take that into consideration when you jump. which you won’t be doing for at least a few months
