what should I do my man is in jail and its his first time in love?

Hello, my boyfriend is in jail right now also.He started out my best friend since high school. Over the past three years we have been together through a lot while dealing with his sons mother and my childrens father,it is like we finally found our first true loves(eachother) He is reacting the same way as well. When I go to visit he trys to do the same thing. It is simply that he has fears that you are going to forget about him while he is everyday remembering you. He does not want to get hurt. It is very fearful for a person that goes to jail for a period of time especially while in a relationship that is serious. While time out here passes for us all they have of the outside is what was there when they left.Basically in a guys eyes they don’t want to be dwelling on you if you are out having fun and forgetting what you have with them. When my boyfriend says things like this I just tell him that it’s too bad im not going anywhere, I think in a way this is what he wants to hear. I would suggesst that if you really do love this guy and are positive that you will still be around when the time is up I would tell him you are not going anywhere whether he likes it or not.It may very well be your reaction he is looking for.
