What should I do about my math teacher?

my math teacher gave me 50% on a test even tho I got them all right. when I asked her about it she said “you dont look smart enough to do these in your head.” but I didnt cheat I did it all in my head. and I cant get my class changed, what should I do?

Answer #1

its obvious that your teacher does not llike you for some reason and if you let this go she will continue to pick on you and make school life difficult for you , you must tell your parent straight away and make sure that you and your parent got to see the school principal . giving you poor marks will show on your end of year report which wont look good as it will look like you cant be bothered when clearly your are very bright . I wonder if your teacher does this to any of your other class mates ? do you know of a reason why your teacher doesnt like you ? what she said to you about not being smart enough is just dam right rude and insulting and by NO means should a teacher say anything like that to any child, in a round about way she is calling you stupid , how dare she ! I hope you get to see the principle ASAP and that your teacher needs to learn some manners . good luck let us know how you get on .

Answer #2

Go to the principal with the work you did out on paper, and show him the graded paper. He/she should have an idea on how to do the math. If not, teach him/her, and then have the principal go to the teacher who screwed you over with the grade, and ask if they were right. If so, then that is where she can get slammed.

Answer #3

Most math teachers require you to show all your work to “prove” that you have done the work yourself. HOWEVER, no teacher should tell a student that they look too stupid to do them in their head either.

Ask the teacher if you can redo the problems and let your folks know about how you have been treated.

Answer #4

if you know you did not cheat I would tell your mum & get your mum together with you to make an appointment to see the principal because what your math teacher is disgusting & just not on!!

with your parent/parents there the principal will do something about that math teacher of yours!

Answer #5

Either you tell the pricipal, your parents or you come up to her and tell her all the facts well known. That obviously you are smart enough for that to happen!

Answer #6

If your instructor said to show all work than you should have shown the work you did in your head.

Your best bet is to request to retake the test. If your instructor refuses that is when to get other people involved.

Answer #7

she must give you full marks whatever you did cheat or by your own.you must tell your parents or guardian so they can solve this problem 4 u

Answer #8

WOW! Tell your parents, go to the principal, if you were my child, I would be hauling myself in that school ready to kick some teacher butt…lol

Answer #9

If you have evidence an error was made on her part, present it to her superiors so they can deal with it.

Answer #10

thats ridiculous..does she hate you or something?tell your parents your principal may back her up to some extent
