What's good to do in Amsterdam,where to go etc?

Hi me and my b/f are going to amsterdam in a few weeks for the 1st time, just wondering if any of you guys know whats good to do there, where to go etc to make are stay worth while. thanxs Shemmy

My favorite part of Amsterdam is the Heineken brewery. Take a tour, thank me later :)

I also recommend the maritime museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Van Gogh museum. Exploring the Amsterdam night life is kind of a no brainer…all you have to do is walk around the city center and you’ll find lots of awesome bars, clubs, and coffee houses. The Grasshopper next to the central train station is one of the more famous ones.

Also check out Haarlem.

You Lucky thing! The Van Gogh museum is a must see. Bike riding is great because it’s very flat and bike friendly The brown cafes are a wonderful experience. Hostles are much more fun than hotels The food is very good, but don’r go for the” rice table” unless youre both very very hungry. your gonna love it
