Yes, religion has caused countless atrocities. But ALL christians, muslims etc.? Now that’s going way too far. This is one of the problems that many people fail to see when criticizing religion

Why not argue that fairy belief is unnecessary instead? Since most people agree with that, it’s easier to win.

HOW ABOUT THE FACT THAT NOONE WOULD HATE EACHOTHER BECAUSE OF WHAT RELIGOIN THEY ARE NOONE CAN JUDGE OTHERS BY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS IT MEANS THAT PEOPLE CAN GET TO NO EACH OTHER BETTER

Religion = root cause of the largest atrocities in human history the world over.

Religion = some special claim to a better relationship than others with whatever higher power may or may not exist, based on faith alone. When in reality, EVERY culture that has ever existed on the planet has had their own personal belief system.

It’s sophistry of the worst kind to tell one group “my culture is superior to yours”.
