What options do I have as woman to have children as am sterilized?

I was sterilized very young and now I would like children with my husband is ther anyway we could have a baby of our own

Answer #1

That depends on how you were sterilized. If your tubes were “tied”, you can arrange to have them “untied” but again that depends on how it was done. If you have a uterus, but no overies, donated eggs can be fertilized & implanted. If you have no fallopian tubes, but a uterus & overies your own eggs can be fertilized & implanted. If you have no uterus, you can use a surogote (sp) with your own or with donated eggs. Just expect to pay about $5-10,000 per procedure. There’s always adoption. Talk to a fertility doctor who can more fully explain which options apply to your specific condition.

Answer #2

It depends on where you tubes were tied. You can get surgery to remove your “clips” but it can be painful and expensive If your sterilisation hasn’t affected your period you can get IVF
