What is wrong with my female toy poodle?

What is wrong with my female toy poodle ,she is about a year now and still hasnt came into heat !What do you think is wrong with her and yes she is definatly a girl :) x

My dog was a late bloomer and went into heat at one year. Is there a possibility she went into heat and you didnt notice? Smaller breeds of dogs clean themselves so often, you wont even notice the bleeding. The only reason I noticed my dog going into heat is because I have an intact male in the house. Otherwise, I probably wouldnt have known. I didnt see any blood. She just delivered her first litter 3 days ago!

Why dont you try a vet.

It’s strange…and lucky, but I’d have her checked…to make sure she’s got all her ‘parts’…I’ve heard of this with cats, so it may just be an anomoly…not harmful to her health, but not good if you’re a breeder.

Dogs go into heat twice a year. So every 6 months…sometimes it takes a year for them to mature into theyre Womanly-Dog parts. Shes probably just like a “late Bloomer”? But going to a vet or google ing this question “My female dog is 1 and isnt going into heat”..and see what comes up

Cute puppies and no im not a breeder ,well I have two other male dogs but there both neutered so there wont be any puppies but I will wait a few more months then take her to a vet .
