What is wrong with dating your Bff?

Ok I have a best friend since I was like 15 and now I am going to be 17 we are like so close I telll him everything.I mean EVERYTHING.

But one day our conversation went rom cookies we like ,to books we read,to games we play, and some how ended up on how we feel about one another. Before I knew I was thinking about him more than usaual and dreaming about him like all the time.I feel it I have found my perfect boyfriend but I have friends who feel its a bad choice because it will destroy our friendship.

We have been going out for two weeks I feel we still are bestfriends with more conversations and even more fun because he is my boyfriend, but I want to know What is wrong with dating your bestfriend?

this happened to me and my best guy friend asked me out and I was like maybbeee I like him so I said yes and he asked me to formal and bought my ticket but we just acted like friends and I realized I really didnt like him that way and it got uber awkward and I couldnt break up with him because he already paid for formal and everything but ya worst choice I’ve ever made because I broke up with him a little after and we havnt talked since…but I met the guy of my dreams now and weve been dating ever since I broke up with my guy friend and I love my new guy:) if you dont think you totally like him then you made the wrong choice and when you break up which will happen if you dont like him its gonna be really awkward im sorry :(

Nothing is wrong with dating your best friend. :-) Those relationships tend to be the strongest because you already know everything and are comfortable around one another. Just remember to keep the conversation open just like you used to when you were friends. All the best. Xoxo

I don’t think anything is wrong with dating your best friend. They have the most stability because you’ve dealt with each other’s up and downs. And probably know the most about each other, a relationship like that can stay intact for a long time. ;)

The downside though, is that if you break up, it may never be the same. And your friends may debate and pick sides. That’s something to look out for.
