What is the purpose of life?

everything needs to die but the meaning of life is to reproduce to keep your species alive for as long as possible and because humans can do a lot more things than animals and suck that also live and die our other purpose it to make our life worthwhile make freinds, find love, just do whatever makes you happy and what you love then you die, but its more of a celebration of your life

You shouldnt be taking that attitude to life. Yea we die but enjoy life to the full, there is no point in wastin it asking quiestion like that,. Do the things you live for, and dont worry about little things

To die, is a very sad thing, and for those that have experienced a loss. We like to think of what we remember of that humans life. What was his/her purpose in life? And the answer to that is what you seek.

I´ve experienced the loss of a close friend, and from what I think, the purpose in life is to be happy, no matter who you are, where you live and come from. If you´re a truckdriver or a bigtime businessman and your still happy, then your living a life that is happiness. And how to get happy, is what we live our life for. So that on our deathbed, we can truly look upon our life as an achievement of our own happiness.

And That´s how I would like to be remembered for: That I lived a life where I was happy.

Doesn’t mean it can’t be fun along the way, though.
