What is the chance she will be allergic to whole milk?
My Daughter is currently on Similac Isomil Formula. I am worried about switching her to whole milk. I am in fear that she will not be able to drink it and be allergic to it. What are my chances? Has anyone else switched from soy formula to whole milk? If so how did it go?
There really isn’t a way of knowing until you try unfortunately - There isn’t a way of testing for lactose intolerance so the doctor will most likely tell you to try and just watch for; vomiting, diarrhea, etc. My son was sick in the hospital and they told me to keep him on soy formula for a couple of months then switch him back to the regular stuff, I did and he was fine.
