What is the best way to get rid of your hair?
What is the best way to shave or get rid of your coochie hair. I used a razor and I kind of left razor bumps. How can I get a nice clean close baby soft shave?
Ouch, razor bumps suck… but you can avoid them! Shaving can be a very involved process, and you have to take a lot of time on it until you get it down, otherwise those annoying bumps will be haunting you and possibly making you itchy :[
Step one: soak in a tub of warm, not hot, water for about four minutes.
step two: Lather up with some sort of sensitive shaving cream. keep it only on the vulva as much as possible. it also helps to spread it the opposite way of hair growth to make the hairs stand up more, and get a closer shave.
Step three: Shave (first step of shaving) The trick for me is to first go with the way the hair grows. If it’s growing down, go down, left, go left, etc… Make sure it is a brand new blade, three or four blades is best. try to shave it so it is shaved it down to where it is mostly gone where there is unwanted hair.
Step four: Exfoliate with a warm wash cloth and mild, unscented soap, ONLY ON THE VULVA. Going near the vagina with the soap may cause a yeast infection :[. You can also get a sugar scrub from some place like bath and body works to use on the bikini line and inner thighs if your hair grows there. I wouldn’t recomend it on the vulva however because it may be too iritating.
Some women find that that is enough, but I like baby bottom smooth myself, so I continue. Step five: Re-warm those hairs to make them soft again. Since the hairs are already wet, I only re-soak for a minute.
Step six: lather up your vulva again. You can use shaving cream, or a shaving gel, which I prefer, so you can see that the hairs are coming off the way you like it. either way, make sure the skin is well protected because that is what mainly causes razor bumps, skin iritation and ingrown hairs (easily caused by a razor).
Step seven: Exfoliate again. Do it about 1 minute with soap, then about 2 minutes without soap. You can do it longer. Do not try to rub the skin off while exfoliating though… Treat your vulva like you treat your facial skin, maybe even a little more gentle.
It can be a good idea to shower afterward to let warm water continue to rinse the area and make sure the pores are open that the hairs grow in.
Step eight: When you are down… dab your vulva dry. Don’t rub it! It could iritate it more.
(optional)Step nine: Put on a light moisturizer without alcohol or scent, like coco butter. There are even lotions made specifically for the vulva for after shaving. Don’t put too much or go inside the vulva though… or that yucky yeast infection could come about. Let the moisturizer dry and enjoy :]
If you still get those bumps however, there are lotions made for it. You see it a lot more in the summer time because so many women are pruning the winter bushes :]
I have really delicate and sensitive skin. Shaving for me used to be a real chore until I tried shaving with hair conditioner. Vash is giving you a great technique to use. It is pretty much the way I do it except that I use Suave conditioner instead of a shaving cream.. As you do it more your skin will toughen up some and the irritation wont be as bad.
laser hair removal!!! but it will cost a pretty penny so start savin up lol
you can always shave it or cut it shorter.
get it waxed
honey if you go against the hair growth that is what causes the bumps if you only go down like the way it grows it doesnt leave any bumps shaving against the hair growth makes the hairs grow inside the body if you go downward it takes the most part of the hair and will still be smooth and you can do this everyother day if you like once those bumps are there you have to wait til they are gone so I would rather do it offtend then hurt and have ugly bumps just down shave up thats what causes them bumps however I have just at the top though shaved to the side
Bravo!
