What is the best type of food to put weight on or best type of protein? been told its EGGS!

There are a the ups and downs of each category of protein but if you’re trying to bulk up the best kind is whey…period…And of course you get what you pay for so don’t just go for the cheapest crap you see on the counter. Also you cannot JUST take protein. You have to make sure you are on a healthy diet because the protein is just so you put on muscle quicker. More of an enhancer than anything.

Protein is a vitamin, not steroids…

The richest sources of protein are animal foods such as chicken, meat, fish, cheese and eggs. However, plant proteins are believed to be healthier because of their lower fat content. Plant protein is found in beans (especially soy beans), lentils, nuts, quorn and seeds. So yes, eggs are good sources of protein but not nessecarily the best seeing as they are high in fat content. Whey protein from a good health food store like GNC and a multi vitamin. That will build muscle if you work out.
