It just sounds bad when you’re in school because year 7 and year 10 just don’t sound good together. But, to be honest, I went out with a boy in year 11 and I was in year 7, and that’s more of a gap. I don’t think its a bad thing at all; think about it, how many years between your parents? There’s 7 between mine, so don’t worry! Go for it! -D. x x x

To me yes it’s too big of an age difference for when you’re a teenager. To the law, yes it’s too big of an age difference, besides, if you’re relationship would become any way sexual…any way…you could be arrested and have to register as a sex offender for ever. Not only that but because she’s only 12 on your record it would show that you are a child molester.
