What is he thinking, does he love me or just want sex?

We have been knowing each other for almost 10 years and we really like each other, he has tried to be with me for a while and I just did not see him that way until know. We are very close, there is no sex but we want it. we are waiting because we are both in relationships that is not going good. He has helped me financially without me asking and he has treated me like his wife or a girl friend and often gets jealous of men talking to me. He told me that he loves me, but he tells everyone that, told me I was his girl and everyone knows it, he said he like me because I am not out to get anything from him. He even supports my kids on things and have someone to buy them things for him because he does not want the one I am with to get angry with me. We were together and we just held each other for while and I let go he was teared eyed. Said he likes being with me and often pretends like we are a couple doing couple things. Yes, he has made some sexual advances and expressed how sexually attracted he is to me. Since we been together we have been taking it slow with the sex thing. He is talking about the future with me in it with him. Told me never to stop calling him or speaking to him. He held me for a while and took a deep breath and said that this feels good.
