We are the church we should be able to read the Bible for our self’s and know what it says and be able to learn for our self’s not have someone teach it to us because we don’t know how…We need to learn how…because you can be misguided so easily.

WE are the church! not any building. As Christians we are His people/the church. I am non denominational. I grew up in a Luthern home…I am not Luthern, I follow Christ and Him alone. The Bible is my only guide..I think that people in organized religions and sects need to remember that man made creeds is not following the one and true and only guide, The Bible, God’s word. We need to start getting back to the basics, back to the original New testament church as Christ intended it to be and stay away from traditions and man made doctrines.

My lack of it is glorious.

And what exactly makes you think that? Oh, know what? Yesterday I wrote a story, and I was inspired by his noodleness Flying Sphagetti Monster - the true creator of the universe.

Typically Evangalist are those who dont really conform to a specific doctrine but go by personall interpretation.

bou , real mature…grow up! what makes me think that and BELIEVE that is Faith in God and knowing that He is my Heavenly Father and creator of all…I see in just your last response how mature you really are in even discussing such issues, so in that I will agree to disagree and end the conversation with you on this topic! Bible IS man made, and even christian(etc) schoolars agree with that fact. You should also know that bible was made of 66 books(if I’m correct) and all of those books had different authors. Some had multiply autors(like John, if I’m not mistaken) which caused there to be contradictions and made some statements vary. Also, some books were NOT included. And who decided which should be included? Hm? Riiight, the church. So please, oh please, stop calling it “the word of god” - it makes you sound so unbelievably, well, stupid.

That is exactly why they removed and added new stuff to it over the course of time. And again, it IS man made, for gods sake.

You could simply admit that you got owned, without embarassing yourself with the inability to answer a simple question. You could simply say “Just because” without bothering with writing all the God stuff(which has absolutely no support except you having “faith” in it). Neither is a good answer.
