What is china law on downloading ?

I live in a country with slow internet so I only get a movie every 2 days. my friends are going to China Gong Zhou something …. And we rented a hotel with internet speed of 2MB per second We were hoping to download all kinds of movies to fill are hard drive that we are gonna bring. We were hoping to download anime movies and some porn So is it illegal to download movies there especially the porn part ?

I only know that giving and selling porn to someone els is illegal there ! but not sure about downloading … But since you cant give and sell that means you have already downloaded it right ? and that you can sell or lend it to others meaning is legal to download (as long if it isnt a copywrited) but only for personal use I think … not sure
