What I'm I Doing Wrong with losing weight?
So I’m 21…5’5…&& Weigh 240…Every Time I Try To Lose Weight It Never Works…So I Started Going To The Gym 2 Hours 3 Days A Week…&& Decided Not To Eat Anything…How Much Weight Can I Lose If I Do This For A Month…
You’d probably only lose about 15 pounds. I’ve tried doing that before, and I’d lose some weight (not enough to be noticeable), but then I’d gain it right back. The reason working out a lot and not eating much doesnt ever work is because when you all of the sudden begin doing this, you drop weight, but then as soon as you get sick of it and start to eat anything at all, you automatically begin to gain all the weight back that you lost while working out and not eating anything. Plus if you dont eat anything, it takes twice as long to lose the weight that you want to because your body goes into starvation mode and shuts down your matabolism and order to store energy fat. So the only way that you’d be able to lose they weight that you want to and then keep it off the way you’re doing it, is to keep doing it the way you’re doing it and never ever stop. This is very very bad for you though. The only way there is to lose weight and keep it off for good is to train your body to get used to smaller portions and doing moderate intensity excercise for about 30 minutes a day.
If you stop eating? You won’t make it a month. Food’s there for a reason, you eat it, it helps keep you alive. However, if you eat too much, or eat too many crappy foods, it helps kill you. You find the right balance and stick with it. Good on you for exercising though. I also doubt you’re 21, most people have common sense when they get to that age.
well obviously with this kind of work out and diet your going to lose quite a bit of weight, although it will not be completly affective for you. Since youre not going to be eating, going to the gym is going to be difficult because of lack of nutriance, you’ll probaby pass out at some point. And secondly after you start eating again your going to gain weight back even quicker. Even if you lost say twenty pounds, it would most likley be tempoary.
