what does a black bird or crow mean when you see one?

Well in my backyard there was a black bird or crow that was dead and sliced in half in the snow, and there was blood splatter everywhere. Where I live you don’t see those kind of birds and its weird that it was cut in half as if someone did on purpose. Does this bird have a meaning that something bad is going to happend? Also when I first saw right away felt nervous and that this is something bad, but I don’t know.

It means absolutely nothing. People think that just because things are black they are bad luck for eg. black cats..but its not true. Its just a superstition. Could mean that theres a weirdo going around your neighbourhood killing birds though considering it was cut in half..lol… Xo:)

My mom use to tell me that it meant someone was going to die when you saw a black crow all by itself, but it could mean anything in your case considering that it was dead and everything.
