What do red spots on the roof of my mouth mean?

At the back of the roof of my mouth, near my throat is a patch of little red spots, no bumps or lumps. should I be worried bout them? I havent got a sore throat and im not ill in any other way. just wondered whether they mean anything. oh and I’ve never noticed them before… I think they came recently.

Well I’m not sure if this applies to you if you haven’t felt a sore throat or anything, but I’ve recently had mono & one of the things I noticed in the beginning stages was that I had these red dots all over the roof of my mouth & down the back of my throat. As you said, they weren’t bumps, & the bumps themselves didnt hurt.

If your throat starts hurting I’d go in and get them checked out by a doctor, just in case. If you dont get any pain in your throat then I wouldn’t worry about it. Hope I helped even a little!
