Im spotting what does this mean?

Hello I was due for a period on the 7th of this month, but instead I got brown looking blood. This lasted for about 2hrs. Then nothing. The next day I was spotting with pinkish red blood and I thought yes its on…but it wasn’t. Then that stop. Its now friday and Im spotting just alittle bit…and Then nothing. What does all this mean. I am always on time with my period. If its on the day or a day early or a day late, but nothing more. They are 25 days apart, and stay on for 4 days give or take 5. Im not on any birthcontrol, and this has never happened to me before. Please help what does it mean? I set up an appointment for tuesday the 14th…just in case it doesn’t come on. Thanks

it can be you stressing out a lot, or pregnancy ill wait to go to the doctors doe before jumping into my own conclusions.
