Answer #1

it is more than that tho! poems are more than invented words… it is focused on severe emotinal drive! you need to pour everything out into 1 poem… give it your all… say what the heart is screaming and striveing to let the world know!!!

Answer #2

Beautiful words, passion, a steady beat, rhythm, rhyming and color you can see in your mind. Differnce is a big thing, too. It gets people thinking.

Answer #3

I like poems that instantly drag me in…something with an eye-catching title or opening line. Anything with true passion, and anything that speaks nothing but truth and real life problems attract some people. Others like fantasy, about a different world with mystical inhabitants. But you have to attract people’s attention. That’s what matters most. I notice many poems are boring and start with words like ‘the’. I tend to not read those kind of poems. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are a lot of extravagant poems that start with ‘the’. :)
