What do it mean to read in a charge that is dismissed as a plea?

My Charge was obtain controlled substance by fraud just recently looked at case and said a read in charge is a charge that is dismissed as part of a plea agreement

it means they arent gonna accept a plea for that charge they say that when you are battling with them you are gonna have to try real hard if they got you red handed but the more on your side evidence you have the more they are gonna work with you so be patient and dont fall for their plea games 90% of cases are plead out cause if not all the courts would be super backed up
