What do I have to do to move in and marry my boyfriend at 16?

Can I legally move in and marry my boyfriend at 16?Just a question I ask myself after he bought me a ring. Ok I’m 14 right now and I know your thinking a 14 year old knows nothing about love! But I really do love my boyfriend. Let me start off by saying we’ve been together forever. And everyday I wake up and feel like I need him just to get out of bed. And well we both have a bAd history and he’s a foster kid and when he turns 18 is when he can get out. And he says he want us to be together. He wants me to move out of the state with him and marry him. And I really want to because I of I love I care for him. So I’m just wondering if there is a legal way I can move out of my moms place and marry him. And please no negativaty I just need a positive but frank answer. Please and thank you.

To marry someone you must really love them and care for them, and I think it is sweet that you two found each other. But like a7xes said, dont rush into anything! If you really love each other he will be able to wait a couple of years until your done with high school and until then he can get a better job so he will be able to support you in the future.

Assuming you are in the United States, there are certain states where it is legal to get married at 14, but you must have your parents’ consent to do so. Somehow, I doubt your mother is going to leap on board and support the idea.

the abve is right also you cant legally get married at 14 at 16 its possible but highly unlikley, you both need parental consent though there really is no rush to get married your both still kids, if you do everything now there be nothing left to look forward to save marriage for later

sure you can move out but where are you going to go? you both need jobs to pay for your rent/morgage, food, cloths, bills and all that, can you both really afford to move out at this stage? why dont you guys wait another few year at least until you finish school and become quilifield to do what you want to do
