What do I do if my girlfriend cant forget her past?

My f told me she cant forget what her ex did to her and in her msn she has I cant believe I fell to you agian you only used me , memories turn to tears , im worried she hasnt forgotten him and I just want to make her happy what should I do?

She might not be able to rid herself from her bad memories but that doesn’t mean that she can’t let them go. She needs to stop thinking about him and start thinking about her new relationship. Everyone has bad memories that hurt but dwelling on them doesn’t help to move one. She shouldn’t let one bad relationship ruin her future relationships and this is something that you should talk about. It isn’t fair to you that she only thinks of him. If she can’t see her last relationship as a learning experience and learn to move on then she might want to talk to a psychologist or therapist about it. If she keeps dragging around her past she’ll end up pushing you away and end up alone. Help her get over it by talking to her about it and finding ways to be happy together.
