How do I contact a person who buys songs?

I have written many songs and I have five pretty good ones and two reallly good ones but I dont know what to do like how or who to show it to in order to attempt to sell it because I am no singer I would just like to sell some of them. How do I contact a person who buys songs? I am pretty sure that they are very good songs and would be hits. any help is appreciated

From my limited experience (a friend’s brother in law got a song sold at one point), the best thing to do is to get a cover band to showcase it, if possible…as lyrics alone aren’t worth much without tons of connections.

In the meantime, many artists that are on independent labels might be open to a collaboration, etc…why not approach a few of those and see if you can’t work out a deal?
